Staking & networks.

Understand which network does the work and what a token represents after an operation. Staking arrangements can issue receipts, while bridges can deliver different asset forms across networks. In both cases, the displayed balance is only part of the story; control and exit mechanics deserve equal attention.

Read the staking guide for the differences between direct operation, pooling, and transferable receipts. Use the bridge guide when investigating a cross-network route. Draw the complete sequence from the original asset to the thing received, including intermediaries and verification assumptions. Then reverse the sequence to describe the exit. A convenient interface or familiar ticker should not replace that map, and a lower transaction cost does not by itself establish a better overall arrangement.
